AIM Software

The Acoustic Information Model (AIM) software is a noise prediction tool designed to model the amount of noise that reaches
individual spaces within a building project through the mechanical systems. The application uses equipment sound data projected through
HVAC system components, noise control accessories, and architectural elements to predict background noise levels of individual spaces.

AIM uses the most current industry established standards and calculation methods for noise prediction, including the 2011 American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Applications Handbook, Chapter 48, Noise and Vibration Control.
